May 18 - 22
I have supplied the link to Luke Wilcox's powerpoint explaining the answers from last week's Practice Test #1.
Practice Test May 18 can be used to practice with demo. Work on time management and upload answers to me.
Wed: You should receive your E-ticket today. Continue looking over your notes, practice tests, and Stats Review material. You can have NOTES and FORMULA SHEET on your desk during the exam.
Use the Stats Medic link to access Resources you can use during the AP Stat 2020 Exam.

Thurs: Complete the Stats Medic Practice Exam using the Demo Exam on College Board. Submit your answers to me. I'll score them for you.
I know many of you have already taken at least 1 AP Exam under this new format. Even if you are comfortable with the process, answering the content questions is still good review.
You will NOT have to create any graphs on this exam. Some teachers around the country are encouraging their students to open two windows on their computer, one for the question and one for their answer, and type their answer instead of hand writing it, taking a picture, emailing it, then uploading. Are ya'll practicing both ways?

May 12 Tues
Check your answers from last week's 2005 "Super" Exam. Questions were added to mimic this year's format. Let me know if you need any help.
Make sure you have printed the 2020 formula sheet and tables.
I have supplied you with labeled pages (blank and lined) that you can use for your answers. It is suggested you will need 3 pages for each question. Make sure you have these printed before the exam.
Tues: I have given you a Practice Question #2 20 minutes total --- 15 minutes to work, 5 minutes to submit. You will time yourself on this question. Submit your question to me as you plan to do on May 22. Use the answer pages I have supplied or use your own, but make sure they are labeled correctly. I will score your question and email it back to you.
The practice questions I will give you over the next week are for you to not only show your knowledge about the material, but to learn to manage your time and get comfortable uploading your answers. Please use them for their intended purpose.

This week we are going to work on Free Response Questions that will be similar in format to the ones on this year's exam.
I have placed 3 questions in the plans that were original 2005 exam questions but have been adjusted to appear more like the questions you'll see this year.
Reminder of Format of This Year's Exam:
Question #1 --- 25 minutes to answer, 5 minutes to upload answer 55% of test score
Question #2 --- 15 minutes to answer,5 minutes to upload 45% of test score
Both questions will have multiple parts designed to test your knowledge over several topics. You will need to have your own copy of the formula sheet for the exam.
You should continue using Stats Medic and AP Central as your review lessons. This week you should focus on Unit 4: Probability

April 27 - May 1 M, W, F
This week we will continue reviewing for the National Exam.
I removed the deadline that had been placed on Unit 1. You are free to go back to that material and review as much as you want to.
I have included a full-length optional Practice Test including Multiple Choice and Free Response. Even though this year's exam will not have multiple choice or an investigative task, answering these questions will continue to keep all topics fresh. Submit your work to me and I'll be happy to score it and return to you. I will count it as a test grade if it helps your semester average.
Please DO NOT submit a test to me that you did not attempt on your own. I don't want to read answers that you have gotten from the internet.
Part 2 Mult Choice is a Google Form. Part 1 is a Word Doc that you can use DRAW and write directly on computer or print it then write on it, Whatever works for you.
If you submit your answers on notebook paper, remember to place you name on all pages and label your work with appropriate Question # and part. Ex #2 a)
You should continue using Stats Medic and AP Central as your review lessons. This week you should focus on Unit 3: Sampling and Experiments.
***You are NOT REQUIRED to do any of the review that I offer you. But I think it would be in your best interest if you would at least watch the Stats Medic videos to remind yourself of the main ideas you are expected to discuss for each topic. There are only 2 questions on this year's exam and each will need to cover several main ideas.***
A realistic goal for this week is to get through the review material for Unit 3: Sampling and Experiments. You can do this at your own pace but try to complete it by midnight Sunday, May 3, 2020.
For anyone trying to raise his/her grade, (optional) THQ #7 is available. if you would like to submit your answers (deadline May 7), I will be happy to grade it. As with all remaining assignments, the grade will only count if it helps your semester average.
